Wildflower Sketching Workshop

In this in-depth workshop on spring wildflowers, we’ll start with a review of flower anatomy to help you better understand and sketch the plants you see in the field. Then we’ll create ‘field’ sketches and paintings of some common wildflowers of the Pacific States including members of the lily, iris, primrose, phlox, poppy, and pea families.

Please download the 'Spring Wildflower Reference Images' file below the video to use with this workshop. You'll also find a variety of other downloadable handouts with more flowers to practice sketching!
