About Your Instructor

Hi, I’m Christine Elder and I’m your instructor for this course on mushrooms. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the fungal kingdom. In college, I studied nature’s diversity, eventually earning a master’s degree in biology and a graduate certificate in biological illustration.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge of mushrooms with students and helping them to be confident about sketching them in the wild.
