The following section of this fish sketching course includes a series of live, online workshops which I taught for a variety of audiences from 2017-2022.

Each covers one of 12+ fish families of the world including Anglerfish, Beta / Siamese Fighting Fish, Clownfish, Great White Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Parrotfish, Pupfish, Seahorses, Sturgeon, Trout, Tuna, and Whale Sharks.

Each workshop runs approximately 90 minutes and begins with a slide show presentation on the family's biology and anatomy. The second half includes a step-by-step demonstration on drawing a representative species of that family.

Sketching techniques focus on pencil drawing but some workshops include demonstrations in colored pencil, watercolor, ink pen, and pastels.
