MACAW PARROT SKETCHING WORKSHOP

This workshop will focus on macaws; the showiest and largest members of the beloved parrot family, many of which face extinction in the wild.

During this workshop, we will survey the diversity of macaw species of Central and South America, such as the blue Hyacinth macaw, Mexico’s Military Macaw, the critically endangered Spix’s Macaw, and the extinct Cuban Macaw.

As usual, we will focus on their unique anatomy which will aid us in sketching them more accurately.

Lastly, I'll lead you through a step-by-step drawing tutorial. We will be sketching the widespread and brilliantly red-colored Scarlet Macaw.
