KINGFISHER FAMILY WORKSHOP

In this workshop, we’ll focus on a familiar bird family of lakes and rivers; the Kingfishers.

Only a handful of the world's 118 species inhabit the Americas, but they include among the largest; the Ringed Kingfisher, and the smallest; the American Pygmy Kingfisher.

During our workshop, we will delve into their behavior, ecology, nesting habits, and anatomy to help us to identify and sketch them more accurately. Lastly, I'll lead you through a step-by-step drawing tutorial.
